Cultural note
Arabic hospitality (diyafa) is legendary. Meals are social events. Arabic coffee (qahwa) is a symbol of hospitality - refusing it can be seen as impolite. Saying 'Bismillah' before eating and 'Al-hamdu lillah' after is customary.
