Grammar

Defective verb. Noun: خَشْيَةٌ (reverential fear). Different from خَوْفٌ (general fear) — خشية implies awe and reverence.

Culture

Khashyah is considered the highest form of fear — a reverent awe born of knowledge. Scholars who truly know God fear Him most.
