ص-ر-ط

Masculine noun. Synonym of سَبِيلٌ and طَرِيقٌ but used specifically in the Quran for the divinely guided path. Almost always modified by مُسْتَقِيم (straight).

The 'straight path' (aṣ-ṣirāṭ al-mustaqīm) is the most important concept of guidance in Islam. It also refers to the bridge over Hellfire on the Day of Judgment.
