Personal Pronouns

Arabic has separate pronouns for masculine and feminine 'you' (anta/anti). Pronouns are often embedded in verb conjugations, so standalone pronouns are used mainly for emphasis. Arabic also has a dual form for 'you two' and 'they two,' though the plural forms are introduced here.

Arabic distinguishes between masculine and feminine in the second person (you) and third person (he/she). This grammatical gender is fundamental to Arabic and affects verbs, adjectives, and pronouns throughout the language.
