wa-kulū washrabū ḥattā yatabayyana lakumu al-khayṭu al-abyaḍu mina al-khayṭi al-aswadi mina al-fajr

And eat and drink until the white thread of dawn becomes distinct from the black thread (2:187)

الْخَالِقُ

هُوَ اللَّهُ الْخَالِقُ الْبَارِئُ الْمُصَوِّرُ

huwa Allāhu al-Khāliqu al-Bāriʾu al-Muṣawwir

He is Allah, the Creator, the Originator, the Fashioner (59:24)

الرَّزَّاقُ

ar-Razzāq

The Provider (divine name)

إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الرَّزَّاقُ ذُو الْقُوَّةِ الْمَتِينُ

inna Allāha huwa ar-Razzāqu dhū al-quwwati al-matīn

Indeed, it is Allah who is the Provider, the Firm Possessor of Strength (51:58)

الْعَزِيزُ

al-ʿAzīz

The Almighty / The Exalted in Might (divine name)

وَاللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ ذُو انْتِقَامٍ

wallāhu ʿazīzun dhū intiqām

And Allah is Exalted in Might, Owner of retribution (3:4)

اللَّطِيفُ

al-Laṭīf

The Subtle / The Gentle / The All-Aware of subtleties

لَا تُدْرِكُهُ الْأَبْصَارُ وَهُوَ يُدْرِكُ الْأَبْصَارَ وَهُوَ اللَّطِيفُ الْخَبِيرُ

lā tudrikuhu al-abṣāru wa-huwa yudriku al-abṣāra wa-huwa al-Laṭīfu al-Khabīr

Vision perceives Him not, but He perceives all vision. And He is the Subtle, the Aware (6:103)

الْحَيُّ

al-Ḥayy

The Ever-Living (divine name)

A2nounroot: ح-ي-ي

اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ

Allāhu lā ilāha illā huwa al-Ḥayyu al-Qayyūm

Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence (2:255)

الْقَيُّومُ

al-Qayyūm

The Self-Sustaining / The Sustainer of all (divine name)

B1nounroot: ق-و-م

الم اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ

alif-lām-mīm. Allāhu lā ilāha illā huwa al-Ḥayyu al-Qayyūm

Alif Lam Mim. Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer (3:1-2)

السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ

as-Samīʿ al-Baṣīr

The All-Hearing, The All-Seeing (divine name pair)

لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ

laysa kamithlihi shayʾun wa-huwa as-Samīʿu al-Baṣīr

There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing (42:11)

ذَنْبٌ

Our Lord, forgive us our sins and remove from us our misdeeds (3:193)
