حَشْرٌ
ḥashr
gathering / assembly (on Day of Judgment)
B1nounroot: ح-ش-ر
هُوَ الَّذِي أَخْرَجَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْ لِأَوَّلِ الْحَشْرِ
huwa alladhī akhraja alladhīna kafarū min ahli al-kitābi min diyārihim li-awwali al-ḥashr
It is He who expelled those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture from their homes at the first gathering (59:2)

إِنَّ هَذَا لَفِي الصُّحُفِ الْأُولَى صُحُفِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُوسَى
inna hādhā lafī aṣ-ṣuḥufi al-ūlā ṣuḥufi Ibrāhīma wa-Mūsā
Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, the scriptures of Abraham and Moses (87:18-19)
الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
aṣ-ṣirāṭa al-mustaqīm
the straight path
A1phrase
اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
ihdinā aṣ-ṣirāṭa al-mustaqīm
Guide us to the straight path (1:6)
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismi Allāhi ar-Raḥmāni ar-Raḥīm
In the name of God, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
bismi Allāhi ar-Raḥmāni ar-Raḥīm. al-ḥamdu lillāhi rabbi al-ʿālamīn
In the name of God, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful. All praise is due to God, Lord of the worlds (1:1-2)
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ
lā ilāha illā Allāh
There is no god but Allah
A1phrase
فَاعْلَمْ أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ
faʿlam annahu lā ilāha illā Allāh
So know that there is no deity except Allah (47:19)
مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ
mā shāʾa Allāh
What God has willed / As God willed
A1phrase
وَلَوْلَا إِذْ دَخَلْتَ جَنَّتَكَ قُلْتَ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
wa-lawlā idh dakhalta jannataka qulta mā shāʾa Allāhu lā quwwata illā billāh
If only, when you entered your garden, you had said: What Allah willed! There is no power except in Allah (18:39)
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ
subḥāna Allāh
Glory be to God / God is perfect

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي أَسْرَىٰ بِعَبْدِهِ لَيْلًا
subḥāna alladhī asrā biʿabdihī laylā
Glory to Him who took His servant on a night journey (17:1)
لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
lā ḥawla wa-lā quwwata illā billāh
There is no power nor strength except through God

وَلَوْلَا إِذْ دَخَلْتَ جَنَّتَكَ قُلْتَ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ

What Allah willed! There is no power except through Allah (18:39)
اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
Allāhu akbar
God is the Greatest

wa-kabbirhu takbīrā
And glorify Him with great glorification (17:111)
خَلِيفَةٌ

vicegerent / successor / steward

إِنِّي جَاعِلٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ خَلِيفَةً
innī jāʿilun fī al-arḍi khalīfah
Indeed, I will make upon the earth a vicegerent (2:30)
شَفَقٌ
shafaq
twilight / afterglow

فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِالشَّفَقِ
falā uqsimu bish-shafaq
So I swear by the twilight glow (84:16)
فَلَقٌ
falaq
daybreak / dawn / splitting
A2nounroot: ف-ل-ق
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ
qul aʿūdhu bi-rabbi al-falaq
Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak (113:1)
